Your First Office Visit
New patients can expect their initial visit to last between 1-1.5 hours.
Consultation: After filling out a patient intake form, you will have a consultation with Dr. Warninger to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and medical history. This is designed for Dr. Warninger to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
Exam: After your consultation, Dr. Warninger will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well.
Review of findings: Based on your health history, goals, and exam findings, Dr. Warninger will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers or additional tests, such as an x-ray. A treatment plan will be agreed upon between you and the doctor. On top of a spinal adjustment, the doctor may recommend to include ultrasound, electrical stim, and/or therapeutic massage to expedite your healing time. Therapeutic exercise may also be prescribed and dietary recommendations discussed if necessary.
Treatment: Dr. Warninger will treat you the same as your initial visit as long there are no contraindications during your consult and exam.
